Edit text in a picture

Change the words in a picture in Fil. Claude reads them, you retype a line, and only that line is redrawn in the same lettering.

Edit text changes the words in a picture you already have. Claude reads the text and where each line sits, you retype a line, and only that part of the picture is redrawn, in the same lettering. Everything else stays exactly as it was.

Change the words in a picture

  1. On a canvas, point at the picture and click the brush at its top right (Edit), then Edit text. Already in the full view? Click the Edit tab, then Text in the rail on the left.
  2. Claude reads the picture. It's free and takes a few seconds. Each line it finds gets a box on the picture and a row under it.
  3. Retype the lines you want to change. Click a box to go to its row. Empty a row to take that line out.
  4. Click Generate. The price is on the button, and the result lands where you can compare it.

Tips

  • Spelling comes out right most of the time, not all of it. Check the result, and run it again if a letter is off.
  • Longer words get a wider box, but a much longer line may come out smaller to fit.
  • Small or blurred text may not be found. To change it, or to add words where there are none, use Inpaint: mark the place and say what it should read.
