Where Fil is different

Design it with an agent beside you.

Open any page in the Design tab to change layers, styles and components by hand, check it at three sizes, or ask the agent and watch it edit the page with you.

Lovable: A preview toolbar to select, edit text, draw and comment (docs)

The hero picture, made here.

Make the hero picture, the product video or a 3D scene on the same canvas, and wire it into the page. Pick the model that writes the page too, per run, with the price shown first.

Lovable: Image assets made while it builds; it picks the build model (changelog) (FAQ)

A landing page, start to finish.

The Landing page workflow plans the page for your kind of site and makes a picture for every section first. When it needs a backend, Open in Lovable sends the page, a picture of it and its words to Lovable.

Lovable: Sign-in, a database and storage, built in, for the page you bring (Cloud)

Where Lovable is better

Questions

Is Fil a good Lovable alternative?

For websites and landing pages, yes: Fil designs them visually and makes their pictures, video and 3D on the same canvas. For apps with sign-in, a database or payments, use Lovable.

Can I move a page from Fil to Lovable?

Yes. Open in Lovable fills Lovable’s box with a prompt describing the page, a picture of it and, once it’s published, its address; you send it there. Copy prompt does the same for Claude Code, v0 or Cursor.

Does Fil build apps with a backend?

No. Fil’s sites can collect form answers, but they have no database, user accounts or payments.

Which is cheaper?

Fil starts at $18 a month; Lovable Pro starts at $25 for 100 credits. One page costs about the same in each: 5–49 credits in Fil, about $0.05–$0.49, against 1.70 Lovable credits, about $0.43.

Can I export my code from Fil?

Yes. Download a page as HTML, a whole site as a zip, or a React app as a Vite project that you can check builds first.

Can I use Fil today?

Fil is invite-only while it’s in beta. Sign in with Google and join the waitlist; invited friends of members get in sooner.
