How it works

  1. The picture: Any picture on your canvas.

    A photo you uploaded or a picture you made: double-click it to open it full size, click Edit, then Effects in the rail beside it.

  2. The effects: Every slider, live on the picture.

    Warmth, a vignette, grain, black and white and more: each a row you can reorder, hide or change, and the picture follows every slider.

  3. Before and after: Saved beside the original.

    Hold Before to compare. Save image keeps it as a new picture at its full size, next to the original, which stays untouched.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Effects need no AI model, so they cost nothing, here or in Fil. Signing in keeps your picture at full size in your Fil, where you can put effects on any picture.

Which effects are there?

Exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, vibrance, warmth, tint, hue, black and white, sepia, a colour overlay, sharpen, blur, grain, pixelate and a vignette.

Does it work on video?

In Fil, yes: every clip in the video editor takes the same effects, and grain moves frame by frame.

How large can my photo be?

The try takes a photo up to 20 MB and keeps it up to 3,072 pixels on its long side. In Fil, pictures up to 4,096 × 3,072 are kept at full size.

Can my agent do this?

Yes. Claude Code, Codex or Cursor connected to Fil can ask for “warmer, with a soft vignette” and Fil makes it beside the original, free.
