A logo exploration sheet for the brand "fil" (French for thread

A logo exploration sheet for the brand "fil" (French for thread; a precise, calm, crafted design tool). Six distinct logo marks in a 3 × 2 grid on a flat near-black #08090a background, each centred in its own cell with generous clear space. The six ideas: 1) a single thread lying on a line with one loop in it, which also reads as a handwritten lowercase l; 2) an over-under weave of three threads in amber #efb36c, rose #ef7d9b and sky #82c1ee forming a small square; 3) warp and weft threads crossing to form a lowercase f; 4) a plaited three-strand braid; 5) a knot reduced to its simplest geometric form; 6) one unbroken line that writes "fil", shown in plain white as the one-colour version. Monoline, even stroke weight, rounded line ends. Flat vector marks, mostly in amber, rose and sky, that stay readable at 16 px. No text, labels or captions other than the single hand-written "fil" line in cell 6. No needles, spools, buttons, scissors, cubes, ribbons, git-branch icons, mascots, gradients, shadows, mockups or 3D rendering. Variation: Lean into a rigorous geometric construction: build every mark on a shared square grid with 45° and 90° turns, perfectly circular loops and a consistent mid-weight stroke, so the six marks feel like one engineered system. Use amber as the dominant colour, with rose and sky as small accents.
